Sending an old-fashioned greeting card has become the exception rather than the rule. Everyone has so much to juggle that they do well to remember to send an email on their best friend's birthday much less to pick-up and mail a card. I have started hand making greeting cards for friends and family who can't seem to find the right message or way to express how they feel (or don't have fifty bucks to spend on a gift). Each one allows me to personalize the card to the recipient with any relevant quote, poem, or photo that is desired. And a card can be more than just a card... I've created many mini-chipboard albums that provide more space for photos and sentiments about a loved-one. Custom cards - now that's a true example of "it's the thought that counts."
